Urban Engineering Association Pvt. Ltd. was formed in the year 1955 and is a leading Manufacturer and Supplier of Railway products. The company is dealing with RDSO approved items since 1968. In 1983, the company started development and manufacturing of various types of Railways Signalling Electromagnetic Relays till 2015.

In 2004, the company diversified its activities to the field of Railway Signalling by introducing Electronics in the products range and became successful manufacturer of LED Signal Lighting Unit, (with CENELEC SIL - 4 SAFETY STANDARD) and has got RDSO approval in the year 2005. Urban Engineering Association Pvt. Ltd. is an ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 certified organization.

Presently, Urban Engineering Association Pvt. Ltd. manufactures LED Signal Lighting Unit, Power Supply Arrangement, Fuse Auto Changeover System & Surge Suppressor and the company is now developing its own Micro-Processor based Electronic Speed cum Energy Monitoring System (ESMON) & Twin Beam Headlight.

1955 - Company established and 1958 - first approval from Eastern Railway

The company was established in 1955 with an aim of providing service to Railways. Just within 3 years of establishment , in 1958, the company got its first approval from Eastern Railway as "Approved Contractor".

1965 - invitation from Hindustan Motors Ltd and 1968 - 1st RDSO approval

In 1965, the company received an invitation from Hindustan Motors Ltd. to display our manufactured product in their exhibition. In 1968, the company received its 1st RDSO approval for product manufactured by us. This encouraged the company and since then there is no looking behind. In 1983, the company spread its activities to production of Railway Signalling Relays.

1983 - production of Railway Signalling and 2004 - started manufacturing LED Signals

In 2004, the company started manufacturing LED Signals, which we have manufactured and supplied all over India and export to different countries.

2020 - 1st manufacturer and supplier of Power Supply Arrangement

In 2020, the company was accorded RDSO approval for being the 1st manufacturer and supplier of Power Supply Arrangement in India.

Urban Tekno-Systems Pvt. Ltd. is a subsidiary Manufacturing Unit of Urban Engineering Association Pvt. Ltd., dedicated to serve the Indian Railways. It was formed in the year 1975 and the company is dealing with RDSO approved items since then. Currently, the company is manufacturing Earth Leakage Detector (ELD) and Fail-Safe Electronic Flasher.
